CNN supported devices
CNN is available on the devices listed below.
Choose a device type
The CNN app is available on the following phones and tablets:
- Android phones and tablets with Android OS 7 or later
Install: On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store and search for CNN. Then, select CNN and choose Install.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
- Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with iOS 14 or later
Install: On your Apple device, open the App Store and search for CNN. Then, select CNN and choose the download option.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
If you have trouble with the CNN app, go to Troubleshoot CNN.
You don't need to install an app. Instead, go to CNN.com on your computer.
For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge for Windows, or Safari.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
If you have trouble with CNN.com, go to Troubleshoot CNN.
The CNN app is available on the following TV devices:
- Amazon Fire TV devices (including the Amazon Fire TV Stick) with Fire OS 5.1 or later
Install: On your Amazon Fire TV device, choose Find and search for CNN. Then, select CNN and choose the download option.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
- Android TV devices with Android OS 5 or later
Install: On your Android TV device, choose Find and search for CNN. Then, select CNN and choose the download option.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
- Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD with tvOS 14 or later
Install: On your Apple TV, open the App Store and search for CNN. Then, select CNN and choose the download option.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
- LG Smart TV with webOS 3.5 or later
Install: On your LG TV, open the LG Content Store and search for CNN. Choose CNN and then Install. If CNN isn't in the LG content store, your LG TV may not be supported.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
- Roku streaming devices (with Roku OS 9.4 and later)
Install: On your Roku streaming device, go to Streaming Channels > Search and enter CNN. Then, select CNN and choose Add app.
Sign in: If you need help signing in, go to Sign in to CNN.
Get CNN via TV provider? Go to Connect your TV provider.
Install: On your Samsung TV, choose Apps search for CNN. Then, select CNN and choose the download option. If CNN is not in the Samsung app store, your Samsung TV may not be supported.

All Access content is currently unavailable on Samsung TVs.

Other ways to stream on your TV
If you don't have one of the devices listed above, here are some other ways to stream on your TV:

- Streaming player: You can also connect a supported streaming player (e.g., Roku or Apple TV) to stream CNN on your TV.
